She is also active in the Lincoln University Alumni Association and visits her daughters, Sharon and Sheila, in the Chicago suburbs.


University Foundation. Jude was tapped by Dr. Kevin Rome to join the Lincoln University family in 2013 as the Special Assistant to the President for Fundraising. He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise and fitness management from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and his master’s degree in higher education from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Willie and his wife Joi are Jefferson City residents.

LINCOLN ALUMNUS PENS FIRST NOVEL


Retired microbiologist Leland Nichols of Fulton, Missouri, released his first novel in fall 2015. “The Ruby” focuses on time travel and has a science fiction aspect to it. Nichols went back to college at 50 and studied biology and history at Lincoln University.
