Te Boys and Girls Club of the Capital City

N A FEW SHORT MONTHS, the new Frank and Billie Railton Center will open its doors to the children of the Capital City Boys and Girls Club. Stephanie Johnson,
Executive Director of the club, beams with pride when she talks about the club’s successful capital campaign. The goal was set at $2.2 million for an 18,000- square foot facility to be located between university’s new wellness center on Lafayette Street. The group surpassed its goal and reached $2.5 million.
In 2012, the Boys and Girls Club
realized that the new Lafayette Street exits from Highway 50 would run right through the group’s playground.
