Making the Most of Missouri’s Outdoors Story and Photography by: Missouri Department of Conservation
Late spring and early summer are the prime months to get out doors in Missouri. Warmer weather makes recreating on the water, overnight trips, and other outdoor hobbies more enjoyable this time of year, and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) rec- ommends pairing together outdoor activities this summer. Instead of just going for a hike or just going kayaking, mix and match your outdoor hobbies. One great pairing for an outdoor adventure is an overnight hiking trip.
