The Linn community has also meant a great deal to Laughlin. He wants to send a huge thank you to every- one who has ever donated time, money, or resourc- es to the school’s athletes. Without that support, he knows his success wouldn’t be possible. team all-conference honors in football, were a great accomplishment for him, Laughlin values the team experience above all else. He knows that you have to work well with your team to succeed. “Playing sports taught me that you have to keep trying even when you lose because that’s the only way to get better,” he shared. Whether it’s the intensity of a close game or the cheers of a supportive crowd, those moments with his team fuel his drive and passion for athletics. set on one last goal: to lead the baseball team to a district cham- pionship. “I’m on a mission to set a higher standard for the next generation, showing them that greatness is built on a foundation of iron discipline and an unbreakable work ethic,” says Laughlin. But beyond wins and losses, he hopes to leave a lasting impression on those who follow in his footsteps.
