Woods, she has become involved in much more than just her sport. Chilek said. “But the way I’ve embraced The Woods, it has become so much more than that. I’m in the honors program, involved in encourages student involvement, and through the LEAD program, I’ve made a lot of great connections. I love it here.” For Chilek, her favorite part about The Woods comes down to the people. “The people here make The Woods what it is,” Chilek said. “The newcomers on our football team have told me multiple times how surprised they are by how nice everyone is here, how we all talk to each other and treat each other. It’s a special thing.”
