Allison Otto Otto Construction Treasurer
Allison Otto is the president and chief executive officer of Otto Construction, a family-owned company founded in 1947 by her grandfather. She joined the firm in 2000 and played a significant role in its growth and success over the next two decades, including successfully leading the completion of the $83.2 million SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity project. Otto served on the Construction Ed-
ucation Foundation Board, was AGC of California’s Delta-Sierra District vice chair before becoming chair, and has continued to serve as treasurer of the State Board of Directors.
Matt Seals Seals Construction, Inc. Vice President, Building Matt Seals is president of Visalia-based Seals Construction, Inc. During his 24-year tenure he helped grow the company, taking on numerous high-profile, multi-mil- lion-dollar projects throughout the region. He is actively involved in his community, sitting on local boards and committees including the Visalia Chamber of Com- merce, Visalia Unified School District Facility Advisory Committee, and others. Seals is active in AGC of California,
currently serving as the vice president of the Building Division and was chair of the San Joaquin District Board of Directors. He has been involved in the Emerging Leaders Program, formerly known as the Construction Leadership Council,
and served as a board member of the Construction Education Foundation.
Mary Teichert Teichert Construction Vice President, Highway & Transportation Mary Teichert is the president of Teichert Construction, a fifth-generation family business established in 1887, known for building essential infrastructure across California and western Nevada. Starting as a quality assurance technician, Teichert rose through roles in operations, sales, and leadership, becoming chief operating officer in 2013 and president in 2020. She champions diversity, facilitating workshops for women and minorities, and serves on key industry committees. Teichert also serves as the chair of
the California Contractor’s State License Board and is the president of Te Beavers. Additionally, she has been a member of several boards including the California Building Industry Association and the AGC of California Board of Directors.
Brandon Pensick Ferreira Construction Company Vice President, Utility & Infrastructure Brandon Pensick is a seasoned profes- sional with over 25 years in the under- ground construction industry. As senior vice president of Ferreira Construction Company since 2013, he manages oper- ations, ensures efficient resource allo- cation, and oversees project objectives and performance standards. He played a crucial role in establishing Ferreira Construction Company’s West Coast presence and continues to lead business development, planning, and coordination for the California offices. Pensick has actively contributed to
AGC of California’s Los Angeles District Board of Directors and played a key role in the development of the Utility and
Infrastructure Division.
Henry Nutt, III Southland Industries Vice President, Specialty Contractors Henry Nutt III has more than 36 years of experience in construction. He has risen from an apprentice to a preconstruction executive at Southland Industries. Nutt is also an author, educator, internation- al keynote speaker, and a passionate advocate for the future workforce in the construction industry. He was appointed to the Contractors State License Board by Governor Newsom in 2024. Nutt is a member of AGC of America’s Diversity & Equity Committee and has participated in AGC of California’s Task Force and DE&I Steering Committee. He has also served on the AGC of Cali- fornia State Board of Directors and was appointed vice president of specialty contractors, showcasing his dedication to leadership and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry.
Steve Rule Turner Construction Company Immediate Past President Steve Rule has more than four decades of experience in the construction industry, including over 36 years with Turner Con- struction Company, where he is a vice president and construction executive. He has been actively involved in AGC of Cal- ifornia for many years, taking on multiple leadership roles. Rule has served as chair and vice chair of the Bay Bridges Board of Directors, previously known as the San Francisco Board of Directors. He served as vice president of building, treasurer of AGC of California, and president-elect. He further demonstrated his commitment to the organization by serving as AGC of California’s 2024 president, showcasing his dedication and leadership within the industry.
