Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Improvements Project.” Prologis teamed with Performance Team and general contractor Hal Hays Construction, Inc., to launch Southern California’s largest heavy-duty electric vehicle charging depot. Located near the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the depot is powered by the nation’s largest electric vehicle truck microgrid. Te project represents a monumental achievement in the electrification of transportation, bringing innovation and sustainability to the forefront. Hal Hays Construction took on the challenge of delivering a fully opera-


tional, code-complaint and utility-approved battery energy storage facility, linear generators, integrated controllers, and electric vehicle charging facilities. Tey managed complex logistics for staging and securing owner-supplied equipment, including coordinating crane rigging and pick plans, while care- fully planning for long lead materials such as precast concrete and critical infrastructure components. Constructed in just seven months, the project showcases the technical


expertise and project management capabilities of a team committed to de- livering this large-scale, complex project within an extremely tight timeline. Also selected as a finalist in this category was Myers & Sons Construction LLC for “Del Valle Dam – Bulkhead Installation and Spillway Repair Project.”
