  A multi-sport standout, Talbot excels in both softball and track, while also serving her school through NHS, student council, and the pep and letterman’s clubs.


Her success comes down to discipline, she says, and a willing- ness to put in the work.


“Coach (Zach) Moore told me the best athletes are the most dis- ciplined,” Talbot said. “If I push myself to practice as much as possible, it will transfer to my game and my career.” For Talbot, competition is where the fun really happens. “I love the competition, as long as it’s healthy,” Talbot said. “Some- times I get a little rowdy and like to ‘troll’ people, but I never mean anything by it. I like when people can take it and dish it right back.” Even when she’s worn down from the physical demands of the


   her mom still holding school records in softball and track. Talbot’s           chart her own path.


“My dad and my family push me to be the best I can be,” Talbot said.


“They’ve always been there since day one, teaching me everything.” Injuries have also shaped Talbot’s journey as well. She broke her


 whole year.
