With the Billy Bowl matchup being the start of Woods’ gauntlet of a schedule as a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference, Serri wants the Owls to compete with the rest of the conference this year.

“I want us to be a competitive team with everyone we play this year,” Serri stated. “If we stick to what we know how to do and keep a winning mindset, we can hang with anyone in this conference. If we take care of that, the goals I want to achieve will take care of themselves.

“Come support us all fall, Owl Nation! We are ready for an exciting

Carter Holloway expressed a similar sentiment to Camp and Serri in wanting to get better each week, and he also emphasized the academic aspect.

“I look forward to playing on Saturdays with my guys,” Holloway stated. “A team goal I have for us next year is to improve each week as a team and have a competitive mindset all year.
