overachieving 20-win season, their second-highest win total in pro- gram history.

The former Capital City Cavalier has been solid in goal for Colum- bia College over the last two seasons, playing in nearly every game as the starting keeper.

“Between the posts, Natalie holds the program record with an impressive 14 shutouts over 20 games played in a season.”

Between her freshman and sophomore seasons, Natalie under- went shoulder surgery with hopes to return for the start of the fall 2024 season.  der since high school and never found the right time to have surgery.  Although she wasn’t able to suit up at the start of practices in August last year, Natalie joined the squad a month later. From there, the Cougars never looked back.

Between the posts, Natalie holds the program record with an im-

pressive 14 shutouts over 20 games played in a season. With two seasons to go, she already ranks second overall in Columbia College women’s soccer history with 22 shutouts, while also ranking sec- ond with an 85 percent career save rate.

Choosing Columbia College was the way to go for Natalie. The campus environment, as well as the storied soccer program, made choosing CC an easy decision.

“CC already had an impact on me when a couple of my friends de- cided to go there after high school. I looked into it and began talking to the soccer coaches. Soon after attending a practice and liking the environment, I decided to take the next step and commit to CC.”  with soccer, in academics, and as a person. She appreciates the opportunity to stay connected within the campus community. “The sports community at CC is so close, and it’s such a positive thing around campus. It’s brought me so many new connections and experiences I'll never forget.”

Last year’s soccer success only inspired Natalie and the Cougars to work harder and set even bigger goals. It’s a familiar place to be at Columbia College.
