She also has an older brother and an older sister. Her older sister was a role model for her in softball. That’s where it all began for Carlee, watching her sister and her friends compete and practice. Those early memories of tagging along to the ballpark and joining in on drills are what planted the seed for the player she’s become today. “I couldn’t wait to be just like them,” she says. Carlee is also a dedicated student and active in school clubs like


 Team, proving that her strong work ethic follows her into the class- room as well.


Coach Madeleine Cochran has played a huge role in her journey. “She’s pushed me through it all,” Carlee says. “She’s the reason I’ve grown so much as an athlete.” With the guidance of strong mentors and the constant encouragement from her family and community, Carlee continues to thrive.


Looking ahead, Carlee’s dream is clear: she’d love to help lead her team to the state tournament in her senior year. But more than titles and trophies, she wants to be remembered as someone who left a positive mark, someone younger players could look up to the same way she once looked up to her sister and her teammates. After high school, Carlee plans to attend college and work toward         
