Hoshizaki America Hoshizaki America, a manufacturer specializing in commercial ice and refrigeration equipment, has promoted Luke Hennebaul to manager of e-commerce and non-traditional sales. In this newly established


role, Hennebaul will lead the strategy and growth of Hoshizaki’s e-commerce and non-traditional sales channels. He will be responsible for driving revenue, refi ning sales strategies and uncovering new opportunities to expand the reach of Hoshizaki’s innovative products and services, the company said. Since joining Hoshizaki in July 2024, Hennebaul has served as the sales and marketing functional lead on the company’s enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management project, making signifi cant contributions to its development and success. “Luke’s drive and strategic mindset have made a big impression in a short time,” said Steve Wright, director of strategic dealers. “His leadership on the ERP/ CRM initiative has been key, and we’re confi dent he will continue to be a catalyst for growth in this new position.”

Middleby Company Longtime industry salesperson Joe Carcione has joined Star Holdings Group, a Middleby company, as its new vice president of sales and marketing. Carcione joined the


industry in 2007 as a Midwest sales manager for Nemco Food Equipment. In the 18 years since, he has held several sales roles at the company, including as director of sales and director of global solutions and international sales. Most recently, he was named Nemco’s vice president of sales and marketing in November 2022. Carcione has also become


increasingly involved in the larger foodservice equipment industry, having served on the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM)/Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry (MAFSI) Liaison Committee. He was also a founding member of the NAFEM Young Professionals Council and serves on the association’s Social Purpose Working Group. In 2024, his work on behalf of NAFEM culminated


in an opportunity to serve on the association’s board of directors.


Rapids & Affiliates Rapids & Affi liates, a distributor based in Iowa, has appointed Steve West as business development lead for the Upper Midwest market. In this role, West will focus on business partnerships and growth across multiple foodservice- related markets, further strengthening Rapids’ presence in the region. West brings extensive industry experience to the dealer, having previously served as vice president of channel development for Apex Order Pickup Solutions. Before that, he held leadership roles at Elior North America, including vice president of business development, vice president of operations and managing director of A’viands and Lancer Hospitality, with engagements spanning local, regional and national markets. His expertise covers multiple foodservice segments, including higher education, K-12, healthcare, corporate dining, attractions, and quick service restaurants.

Kyle Coleman has joined Unox as the company’s new active marketing chef for the Southwest.


With two decades of experience in food operations and culinary consulting, Coleman has worked with major retailers such as Whole Foods and Sprouts Farmers Market, and with manufacturers such as TurboChef and Alto-Shaam. As active marketing chef, Coleman will work directly with foodservice operators to help them fully utilize Unox’s cutting-edge cooking solutions, the company said. His role includes leading individual cooking experiences and training sessions, providing hands-on demonstrations and in-depth expertise to enhance kitchen effi ciency and consistency.
