The company was founded in 1985 by Renato Alonso, a Cuban immigrant who learned about fabricating steel by working at his father’s steel fabricating company. What makes your company stand out in the market? What are the key values you follow and try to instill in your products? What sets us apart is our commitment to being easy to do business with — from fast, accurate quoting to smooth installation. What are two key ways dealers create value for your company? What are some ways you are working to strengthen your company’s relationship with dealers? Dealers are essential partners in our success. They add value by helping end users navigate product selection and design with confi dence, and by providing feedback that helps us continuously improve. We support these relationships with fast, dependable quoting, consistent communication, marketing support, and a team that’s always ready to help. We’re also launching a nationwide installation service to simplify the process and offer dealers a true one-stop-shop solution.
What’s the next big innovation or initiative for your company you’d like to highlight? We’re thrilled to be working on the Smart Kooler, a next-generation, IoT- enabled walk-in solution designed to take the pressure off busy kitchen managers. This innovation includes features like automated temperature logging, door-left-open alerts, smart thaw timing, prep stock notifi cations, and even instant inventory visibility. It’s a game-changer for food safety, effi ciency and waste reduction. We envision the Smart Kooler as part of a larger “fridge-as-a-service” model, combining hardware and software into a hassle- free, intelligent system. With predictive maintenance and 24/7 monitoring — what we call FridgeCare — the future of refrigeration isn’t just cold, it’s smart.
Why is attending the FEDA conference a valuable experience for distributors and manufacturers? What advice would you give attendees who are looking to make the most of the conference’s networking opportunities?
FEDA is one of the most impactful events in our industry. It brings together forward-thinking distributors and manufacturers who want to innovate and grow. It’s a chance to step back from the day-to-day, connect with decision- makers and align on what’s coming next in the market. For attendees, our best advice is simple: Come prepared.
