Love, Peer Support, Community & Sense of Family

Scott Foundation has big aspirations and a different path for Ari- zona foster youth. They imagine a journey that inspires kids to be their absolute best today while making our communities stronger and more peaceful. They imagine an education and societal system focused on empowering foster youth, not just rescuing them. They also imagine a world where these youth are taught that they are not separate, but instead, are accepted for themselves and are a part of the community that surrounds them. That can only hap- pen when they experience that connectedness and develop their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Scott Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that sparks the potential in Arizona Foster Youth with programs that are unique in the Country. They focus on 13 to 17-year olds and young adults 18-25, since they are considered to be within the Arizona Depart- ment of Child Safety and Healthcare transition period. They help these young people gain practical skills for life but more important- ly to develop a healthier sense of self, compassionate hearts and purposeful career paths.

Their teens learn to live in selfless service to others and evolve emotionally so that their perspective about life shifts and their in- dividual potential blossoms. Their Masterclass program averages 100+ learning experiences per-year, per person and provides expe- riences in eight different and exciting vocations, so their partici- pants have a better chance at success.
