This mentality was shown in one of Jonathan’s favorite memories


    of district play. “We all played at 100% that day, and even though we lost and the season was over, it was the best end to my soccer career that I could ask for. I saw many of the same tears as in my second game  ten to play with such an amazing team.” Jonathan hopes to be remembered as an uplifting and dedicated team-


mate. The work that he put into athletics will stay with him forever. “It’s all about what you put into the game and what the game


gives you to carry with you in the years long after you’re done.” And the Calvary Lutheran senior will forever be molded by his ath- letic experiences. “I believe that my work ethic has been honed by my sports ex- periences in high school. It will be an invaluable tool to me in all walks of my life. I’ll carry memories from time spent with my team   ciding between becoming a secondary school educator or a surgeon. “I know for sure that I want to directly provide an essential service to people, and I would like a career that gives me a good opportunity to spread God’s Word to people.”


 


His goal is to attend Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Whatever his path is, his work ethic will certainly not hurt his goals.
