Jaycie also Smith-Cotton Classic in Sedalia. Jaycie’s success did not come easy, follow- ing the heartbreaking loss of her father, Bobby, before her senior season. The drive to give her all and be the best she could be came from the inspiration of her dad. Jaycie also had strong support from her mom, Sally, who served as Capital City’s assistant golf coach. “Jaycie has been playing golf since she could hold a club. From a young age, she knew she wanted to play college golf. Along the way, she set little goals for herself. She would even set goals at practice and would not leave the course until each one was complete. She works very hard and has earned every accomplishment.” -Caitlin Phoenix, Capital City High School Golf Coach lege golf next year at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
