Becky Robins, CPA

“And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” ~Micah 6:8

BECKY’S TRAIL MIX

If I weren’t a CPA, I would be: An archaeologist or something related to history - this is what I thought I wanted to do when I started college. I even have a minor in history.

One thing on my bucket list is: Going on an extended trip through Europe

You’ll never catch me wearing: High heels – I am already 6’ tall and hate towering over people.

What snack do you crave late at night? Anything salty/savory.

What’s the one movie you can watch over and over again? While You Were Sleeping

My nickname is: I don’t really have one now, but I was called the Jolly Green Giant in high school.

If you could have an endless supply of anything, what would it be? Bacon

Community service for Becky Robins, CPA, has come full circle. “Growing up, my parents instilled in me a desire to serve the community in whatever ways I am able,” Robins explained. “My mom always worked in the [nonprofit] environment and, for most of my childhood, she was the office manager for Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa (MOW),” adding that the impact of delivering meals with her mother was unforgettable. . Years later, her experience led her to apply for a MOW board internship through Tulsa Young Professionals in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Now, Robins is on the MOW board of directors, serving on its finance committee. “It has been exciting to see the expansion of MOW’s existing lunch delivery program, the addition of a breakfast program for those same recipients and the creation of a new program to reach out to high school students who suffer from food insecurity,” Robins said. “I came from a family never having to worry about where our next meal would come from. It was very eye opening to see that there were individuals out there who didn’t have families to help them get the nutrition they needed…I have had the opportunity to deliver meals to MOW beneficiaries again, and that same feeling I had as a child is still there.” After graduating Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College in Fulton,
