Vice President Walt Johnson Walt Johnson obtained his bache-


lor’s in construction management with a minor in business adminis- tration from Chico State. He has spent the past 26 years in public works construction. After a two years with a Minneapolis-based contractor working in Oxnard, he joined K.G. Walters Construction Company, Inc. in Santa Rosa and climbed the ranks from office engineer to eventually become President and CEO. Te general engineering contractor specializes in the construction of water and waste- water treatment plants in California and Northern Nevada. Johnson has been active in AGC


of California for nearly a quarter century, including serving as past chair of North Bay District, a state board member, and national board member, among other roles.


Treasurer Jerome DiPadova A Southern California native,


Jerome DiPadova grew up around the heavy civil construction industry. While attending the University of California, Riverside, he began his career working as a takeoff engineer for his father, Tony, at Kasler Corporation. Following his transfer to California Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he majored in engineering technology and construction management, DiPadova continued as a structure field engineer for Kasler. He joined E.L. Yeager Construction Company in 1994, working in their estimating department. DiPadova continued on after Skanska bought the company in 2002, and is currently a Senior Estimator and Labor Relations Manager for Skanska USA Civil West California District. DiPadova has been an active


member of the AGC of California www.AGC-CA.org Associated General Contractors of California 23


since 2005 and has served as Chair of the Riverside/ San Bernardino District board from 2013 to 2015, Joint Engineering Division Chair in 2015 and as Southern California Union Contractor Council Chair since 2013.
