AGC 2016 Officers Elected Installation Dinner Slated for January 29, 2016 in Long Beach
Board meeting in October of 2015. Te officers will formally be installed on January 29, 2016 during a special dinner at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, held in conjunction with the first division and state board meetings of the year. Jaimie Angus, President of Griffith

Other officers to be installed for 2016 include: Senior Vice President Mike Mencarini, Unger Construction Co.; Vice President Walt Johnson, K.G. Walters Construction Company, Inc.; Treasurer Jerome Di Padova, Skanska; and Immediate Past President Jon Ball,

Hensel Phelps. Tomas T. Holsman is CEO of AGC of California.
President Jaimie Angus Jaimie Angus joined Griffith
Company in 1987 and worked as a laborer while completing his degree in aerospace engineering at San Diego State. During his rise from laborer to estimator to Los Angeles District Manager, Angus participated in a number of Griffith Company’s notable projects. Now as President, he oversees day-to-day operations of the company including estimating, project management, and construction. In 2006 and 2007, he served as Chair of the AGC Los Angeles District, and also chaired the Joint Engineering Division board in 2013, among other roles.

Senior Vice President Mike Mencarini
Mike Mencarini began his career
in the construction industry with Harbison-Mahoney-Higgins, Inc. in 1987 after obtaining a bachelor of science degree in construction management from California State University Sacramento. He joined Unger Construction Co. where he is now Vice President of Operations. Mencarini has served on the
board of AGC of California’s Delta- Sierra District since 2007. He chaired the Building Division and Awards Committee in 2012 and served as Chair of the Construction Education Foundation in 2013 and 2014. He has also been active with the City of Sacramento as a commissioner on the
