tournament schedule with three tournaments in Culpeper County as well as a tournament in Madison County for this year. Culpeper County is slated to upgrade the
current tee pads in the early spring and talks have been occurring to present some new ideas for the course at Rockwater Park. “Rockwater and Spilman Park are good
courses and draw in a lot of players from around the region,” Hierwarter added. Spilman and Rockwater Parks off er
recreation opportunities in downtown and rural settings. Each possesses a unique charm that promotes family time, relaxation, an opportunity to pursue an up-and-coming sport, take in the local wildlife or simply enjoy a leisurely picnic. Geographically the two parks off er
recreation opportunities at no cost and many rewards on the north and south ends of Culpeper County.
