Another important part of Oglebay classes was the call to return to the classroom by the sound of a large bell being rung by the school’s director of education. Decades later, with experience as an instructor, regent, chair and dean of GI, I have tremendous respect for all who have poured their heart and soul into keeping VMS at Ogle- bay relevant and successful. Thank you to the Foundation for funding the school in the begin- ning and the regents who have grown the school into a revenue gen- erator for the Association, a model we should replicate between the     week including room and board at prices as much as 50 percent less  not include beds and food. School Is A Fabric Of Life The IAVM Venue Management School has been part of the fabric of my life since 1987, and I count many, many lifetime friends developed through the networking and working relationships of the school. The “working” mid-year meetings were special times with special people. Happy 30th Birthday, VMS!

Thumbs Up To 30 Years I don’t know where else I would have had the chance to get to know and work with such talented professionals from other venue types.
