Paul Hollis Moving on from Redexim Paul Hollis, the executive vice president of Redexim North America, Inc., has made the decision to step down from his position and move on from the Redexim company. Paul left in April 2023 having served Redexim for over 30 years. During this time he had built
many great long-standing relationships with employees, distributors, and suppliers. Redexim is grateful to Paul for all his efforts and his can-do attitude which has allowed Redexim to reach customers whatever the challenge. Te whole team at Redexim would like to thank Paul for his hard work and dedication to the organization over the years and wish Paul every success in the future.
Sod Solutions Marketing Wins Eight Awards in National Contest

Sod Solutions traveled to Portland, Maine, for the 33rd Annual Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) Meeting during the last week of April and brought home eight communications awards. Competing among some of
the most reputable turfgrass industry marketing companies and publications, Sod Solutions won three First Place Awards and five Merit Awards.

Te TOCA conference gathers marketing and communications professionals from all over the country to a new city each spring. Tis year, the group ventured to New England to discuss new industry trends and topics as they enjoyed lobster rolls among views of bays, rivers, and botanical gardens. Te annual meeting consists of educational sessions, tours, panel discussions, presentations, networking events, and more. Te awards luncheon is on the final day of the meeting to recognize the communication and marketing efforts put forth by TOCA members within the green industry. In addition to its award-winning efforts, Sod Solutions media and content manager Cecilia Brown has been invited to join TOCA's Board of Directors. Brown expressed her enthusiasm for this opportunity, saying, "I am thrilled to have been asked to join the TOCA Board of Directors. Tis is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and passionate community of professionals who are dedicated to promoting and enhancing the green industry. I can't wait to work with the other board members to advance the goals of the organization and contribute to its continued success." Sod Solutions was also chosen to host the 2023 TOCA Marketing Internship. Beginning mid-May, Elyse Kann, a senior at the University of Auburn, will join the company in Charleston, SC, for two months. In this role, she will work with Sod Solutions sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand the company’s four business units, shadow multiple roles, and learn about the turfgrass industry.
Turf News Earns Two First Place TOCA Awards TPI’s Turf News returned from the 33rd

Meeting with two First Place Awards. One award was in the PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, MULTIMEDIA category for Best use of photography judging three issues. Tat First Place went to Turf News—January/February, March/April, and May/June 2022. Te other First Place Award was in the SPECIAL PROJECTS category for Best coverage in a magazine of an on-site event. Te winner was—TPI 2022 International Education Conference & Field Day Recap that was published in the Turf News May/June 2022 issue. Your co-editors would like to especially THANK Jane Tomlinson of Ink Umbrella for putting all the words and pictures together in their award-winning manner. We would also like to Tank the TPI Board, Staff, and Members for all their suggestions, input, and eagle eyes for each issue for these past ten years. Without everyone’s input and assistance it would not have been possible for Turf News to have won seventeen TOCA Awards over these ten years.
