BERMUDAGRASS
BLUEGRASS
BLUEGRASS
Bermudagrass
(vegetative) originates from Mississippi State University. Celebration Hybrid is an improved variety resulting from crosses of Celebration®
Bermudagrass.
Celebration Hybrid exhibited top- tier drought tolerance in the most recent National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP) bermudagrass trials and also adds many other improved features that may make it the best overall Bermuda on the market. It showcases a finer texture and better shade tolerance than its predecessor, Celebration, with fewer seed heads and with less thatch. It also has better cold tolerance, performing well deep into the transition zone. It is being trialed at golf course sites across the southeastern United States where it was favored by superintendents. To express interest in licensing Celebration Hybrid Bermudagrass, visit

(K17-188AD) Kentucky Bluegrass originated as a single apomictic hybrid. During the Summer of 2015, Cutting Edge was selected for good seed head numbers, good floret fertility, good stripe rust resistance, and good drought tolerance. Seeds were planted in turf plots near Hubbard, OR, and Rolesville, NC, in the fall of 2015. Cutting Edge was found to have good summer performance and turf quality. In August of 2018, Cutting Edge was rated very high for resistance to Summer Patch disease. In February 2019 and January 2020, Cutting Edge also exhibited good winter color. In October 2021, Cutting Edge ranked at the top of the list for resistance to Crown Rust and near the top for resistance to Dollar Spot disease. Perhaps the most important plant characteristic of all for sod growers is the fact that Cutting Edge has great seedling vigor and is fast to establish ranking as one of the very best Kentucky bluegrasses in both the third week and the seventh week of the establishment trial. Cutting Edge has also been rated consistently high in overall Turfgrass Quality. Cutting Edge Kentucky Bluegrass is a welcome addition to the Jonathan Green Blue Panther Kentucky Bluegrass Sod Program.
is an improved
Bermudagrass new in the Mountain View Seeds lineup. Heritage exemplifies superior density and leaf texture. In a three-year trial at North Carolina State University, Heritage was the top variety on overall turf quality and genetic color. In addition, this improved bermudagrass has great cold tolerance and improved spring green-up. Heritage is a great choice for a landscaper-type Bermudagrass. • Cold Tolerant • Fine Leaf Texture • Improved Turf Quality • Great Density

(A06-46) Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) is a new Jefferson/ Washington-type bluegrass. This type of bluegrass is known for superior performance in the transition zone, but Martha excels there and in all zones, as demonstrated in the 2011 Kentucky bluegrass NTEP trials. Martha shows superior wear tolerance and recovery, with excellent summer patch and stem rust resistance, critical for sports fields and fairways. It qualifies for the A-LIST for Low Input turf with superior drought tolerance and recovery. Martha shows early spring growth and high summer stress tolerance. It has high seedling vigor with rapid establishment for repairs as well as new stands. With low thatch development and high resistance to Poa annua invasion, Martha serves all your
Kentucky bluegrass needs.
Kentucky Bluegrass is the latest development in high traffic tolerance, disease resistance, and overall performance within our extensive bluegrass portfolio.
