Whether it’s on the hardwood or on the sand, Taylor Germann has thrived in all things volleyball.


This Southern Boone Lady Eagle has brought much excitement to the game of volleyball through her leadership and performance. Interestingly enough, Taylor has become a talented beach volleyball player for her club team, Alpha Omega Beach Volleyball. What started out as tagging along with a friend for a beach volleyball tournament end- ed with Taylor falling in love with the sport. “Beach pushes you to your limits and it takes great determination and endurance because of the heat and there are only two of you to cover an entire sand court, she said.” A year later, her passion and determina-


 Volleyball National Championship. Her beach volleyball journey has taken her all over, but her favorite destinations include Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama. 


      Beach Volleyball National Tournament. She recently made her way to compete in the 2024 Tournament as well! As for the indoor game, Taylor played a big role in last year’s  2, giving the eventual state champions from Blair Oaks a run for the district title. Taylor ranked #1 in Missouri and 12th nationally with a .499 hit-

  First Team All-Conference and All-District, Player of the Year for the Tri-County Conference and Class 3 All-State.


She’s not done yet. “I want to get better not only for myself but for my team. I push myself to get better for great results and the satisfaction of victory and success.”
