From 2011 to 2015, Boudria played a leadership role in the worldwide operations team based in Chicago. Upon returning home in 2015, she joined the Canada leadership team in the role of McCafé officer and led the team responsible for defining the vision and execution of the McCafé brand, guiding her teams to sustained and consistent periods of growth. In 2018, she was appointed west regional vice president and established herself as a strong partner to the owner/operators in the region, a role she held until 2021 when she was appointed managing director of the Dutch market. “With her impressive and varied tenure working across

Papa John’s Papa John’s International appointed Joe Sieve as chief restaurant officer. He will oversee the operations of Papa John’s corporate and franchise restaurants in North America, reporting to Max Wetzel, executive vice president and chief commercial officer. Sieve brings broad-based experience as a strategic operator and development leader for major industry players, including Domino’s and Inspire Brands. He began his career out of college as a franchisee and later built a portfolio of 58 Domino’s restaurants. Most recently, Sieve spent six years at Inspire Brands as vice president of franchise development, where he was involved in the creation and growth of the multi-brand organization. Before his time at Inspire and as a Domino’s franchisee, Sieve was director of strategic market growth at Domino’s Pizza, Inc., where he and his team developed and executed the company’s fortressing strategy, among other contributions. “We are thrilled to welcome Joe to Papa John’s. Papa Murphy’s MTY Food Group promoted Nik Rupp to COO, Papa Murphy’s division.
Rupp joined Papa Murphy’s in 2018 as CFO, and then as executive vice president, finance following the transaction
with MTY in May 2019. During his tenure with Papa Murphy’s and MTY, he has overseen strategy development, financial planning, accounting, supply chain, procurement, tax and treasury for Papa Murphy’s.
“Since the acquisition of Papa Murphy’s, the division was run by a committee of five incredible members, one of which was Mr. Rupp. The time has now come to name a leader for the group,” said Eric Lefebvre, CEO of MTY. “Mr. Rupp brings a lot of experience and credibility with our franchise partners and our team, and as such he emerged as the natural leader for that division. He will work with the rest of Papa Murphy’s leadership team to accelerate the development and implementation of new initiatives that will support our goals for the long-term.” Rupp has more than 20 years of senior-level finance, strategy and planning experience. Before joining Papa Murphy’s, he served as the CFO for Specialized Bicycle Components from March 2016 to February 2018, and as Global Controller from January 2015 to March 2016. He has also served in roles for Nike and Converse.
Zaxby’s Zaxby’s announced Sharlene Smith as its new COO. With more than 30 years of experience at some of the nation’s leading restaurant concepts, Smith will be instrumental in driving the company’s national expansion through operational effectiveness, system improvements and people development. “Given that culture and quality have always been hallmarks of our brand, we needed an exceptional leader who has demonstrated capabilities for operational excellence as well as a passion for people,” CEO Bernard Acoca said. “Sharlene is an executive who balances vision with execution, and that makes her ideally suited to help accelerate our growth.” Most recently, Smith served as vice president of operations excellence, North America for Papa John’s International, where she was responsible for operations execution across 3,000 locations. career in field leadership positions at McDonald’s Corp., where she led one of the largest, high-growth regions in the system with more than 850 company and franchised locations. She consistently exceeded year-over-year income growth and guest counts by improving performance metrics and adding new restaurants annually. “Helping organizations develop talent, grow revenue and
