World Champion Alida Kingswood, 89, mother of Jeff King-


swood, pastor of Grace Presbyterian in Wood- stock, Ontario broke the record in the women’s 85-89-year-old, 2,000-metre race during the World Rowing Indoor Championships. Her winning time was 10:11.08. The championships were held remotely this


year due to the pandemic. Kingswood compet- ed in real-time against competitors from across the world. She broke the last record by about 22 seconds, which she set a couple weeks prior.
