BUILDER $50 MILLION TO $100 MILLION


“University of California, Riverside School of Business” Te UC Riverside School of Business project responds to tremendous growth on the campus over the past decade. Trough a design-build competition, the McCarthy | Moore Ruble Yudell team was selected to deliver a forward-looking design that welcomes a diverse student community. Te project is the first new academic building serving as a gateway to the South Campus District. Centralizing the School of Business classes and activities, the new facil- ity incorporates state-of-the-art technology for hybrid learning. It includes collaborative classrooms, a 350-seat auditorium, computer lab, recording studio, multi-use spaces and café, and more. Te project team overcame myriad challenges to deliver a world class


facility that is flexible, durable, and cost-effective, integrating seamlessly with UC Riverside’s existing campus and fostering a sense of community for students and faculty. Also selected as finalists were: Otto Construction for “Oak Ridge Elemen-


tary School;” Pinner Construction for “Shenandoah Elementary School Comprehensive Modernization;” and Swinerton for “UCSF Health Peninsula Outpatient Center.”
