Chase was the county’s longest-serving supervisor, and his dedication to community service also included 7 years on the county planning commission. In 2021, United Kingdom native Mike
Dale received the award for his many years of service to the Culpeper community. Dale and his wife Mary arrived in the U.S. in 1966, and he enjoyed a successful career as a president of Jaguar Cars North America. While his leadership greatly enhanced Jaguar, moving to Culpeper in the early 2000s allowed him to express his passion for fl ight. Ultimately, Dale is responsible for growing Culpeper Air Fest into what it is today. Dale has been involved in Culpeper’s
STEM program since its inception in 2017 and was instrumental in the founding of E Squared, a business-training program that encourages leadership development by exposing high school students to real-life career situations. His teaching extends
