ou’ve heard the adage a million times over the course of your life, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” While it seems corny and outdated, that simple phrase is a good reminder to many people that eating well and taking care of yourself helps keep you out of the doctor’s office for larger health issues. As a professional community association manager, you’re responsible for the overall health of the buildings and physical elements that you manage as a portfolio or onsite manager.

What is a healthy building? How do we keep our buildings healthy? Who can we “send” our buildings to for a “checkup”? These can be tricky questions to answer, and the responses can vary depending on the type of building or physical elements you manage. We are going to walk through each of these questions so that you can help keep your associations healthy in the New Year!
