significantly to the local economy, according to Sacramento Kings Director of Public Relations John Jacobs. “Tis once-in-a-generation project is profoundly impacting the regional economy, creating a place for residents and visitors to celebrate and showcasing the best of Sacramento,” he commented. Along with Turner as the GC,


several other AGC member contractors had a role on the complex project, including Granite (earthwork), Clark Pacific (precast concrete), and Rosendin Electric (electrical) among others.


Involvement is Source of Pride For Turner and all those who


participated in the design and construction of Golden 1 Center, being involved in such a milestone project represents a source of pride. “A large portion of the Turner staff


is local to the area and will be visiting this arena with their children and grandchildren,” Lynch commented. “(We are) very proud of bringing a project like this to the region.”

the project to some of AGC’s younger members earlier this year when it led a group of approximately 16 student chapter members from Sacramento State on a jobsite tour. Lynch, who served as vice president of the AGC student chapter at Fresno State during his own time in school, said the company values the chance to
