classes, our Connect groups, and even in the Nursery Ministry. One of our members, Bob Disher, had this to say about RightNow media:
“Our Connect (small) Group started using material from RightNow Media soon after an account at EBC was made available to us. In fact, LaVonne Davis, one of our group members, was the one who first informed EBC about this excellent source of study mate- rials. Our group has been extremely impressed with the high quality of the videos and accompanying study mate- rials. Each lesson/topic is well orga- nized and presented in a manner that captivates the viewer. We plan to wrap up one study and are now looking on RightNow Media for another topic/ study to begin. Having these mate- rials at our disposal is a great way to complement our church’s library. And, because these materials are streamed off the internet, our group members can preview a video from the comfort of their own home in preparation for getting together for our weekly group meetings. Doing this has greatly enhanced our discussion time as our members have time to process, pray over, and organize their thoughts before we come together.“
RightNow Media has an app available. It is so easy to use and a great tool for many ministries in our church.

We are grateful for another safe har- vest in the local area. Retired pastors living in the community have pro- vided pulpit supply. An interim has been elected for the coming year.

As the body of Christ, our purpose is to continue to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the gifts God has given each of us to build each other up in the faith. Prayer groups meet at 8:45 a.m. Sunday mornings and at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. We seek the power of the Holy Spirit to work in and through us.
In our adult Sunday school we have the opportunity of learning about the ten plagues and how they relate to the gods of Egypt, a class taught by Zach Shefferd. Another course is offered by Pastor Bob titled, “How to Share Your Faith in Jesus With- out Having a Panic Attack.”
We are grateful for increased num- bers in our Awana outreach as well as in our youth group and Sunday services. Currently Pastor Bob is teaching a series titled, “Crystal Clear Christianity” from the book of Romans in our Sunday morning worship services.
Women are enjoying a valuable time of teaching and fellowship at MUMS (Mothers Uplifting Moth- ers) each month. A four-part video series of lessons taught by Paul Tripp on biblical parenting has been challenging and has opened the door to meaningful discussion. Good parenting begins within our own hearts. We are God’s first responders for our children.
Our pastor’s wife, Julie Stretch, is also teaching a women’s Bible study based on the book, Psalm 23 The Shepherd With Me by Jennifer Rothschild.
Steve and Mikki Schmidt, our missionaries to Ghana, spent the weekend of November 5 – 7 with us visiting in homes and sharing their ministry in our Sunday school and worship service.

After gathering outside in our church parking lot every Sunday morning all summer, we have been back inside since September. It’s been so great to be indoors again, utilizing our church’s facilities and being able to enjoy the building again since the major renovations took place! We have been making great use of the brand new Sunday school room with women’s Bible study, men’s Bible study, hermeneutics class, and, of course, Sunday school.
For the first time since the begin- ning of the pandemic, we finally got to celebrate baptisms, new mem- berships, and baby dedications. We dedicated almost 10 babies!
We voted in and hired a fellowship pastor, Jim Fast. He got 100% of the vote and is also the father to our pastor, Jared Fast. We are so thank- ful for their work in our church! Jim is teaching the Old Testament class.
One of our favourite Christmas tra- ditions is raising money from Sun- day school donations to go towards packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan’s Purse Canada. It’s a great way for kids to learn practical ways of how to help those in need.
We are so thankful to be gathering as a body and for God’s provision.”

Things have been fairly busy at the church. Our heating system was re- done this fall. We are excited about the possibility of having consistent heat this winter!
