Our camp speakers did a gr at job o relay ng t e g uth. A theme was portray- ing Jesus as the light of the world. In a dark room even a small, single candle, can shed a great amount of light. how God contiinuallly sustains and provides
overnight camps. If you are able to support this minis- try through prayer that would be great and we would like to hear from you.
If you want to commit to praying for the camp here are a few prayer requests:
• STAFFING - Like many camps, it can be challenging to recruit staff. Our location adds a challenging dynamic to this as well. Pray for passionate workers to join our team.
• FINANCIAL -We also have financial needs. On top of the general maintenance and camp operations, we want to update some of our activities such as the ar- chery range, BMX track, the basketball court, and the sand volleyball court.
• COMMUNITY AND CAMPERS - Pray for the spiritual need in these communities. Remember to pray for the campers that came this year and heard the gospel. We continue to pray that Jesus will draw them to himself.
Charles Spurgeon said, “Prayer and praise are the
oars by which a man may row his boat into the deep waters of the knowledge of Christ.” We prayerfully act in obedience to him and give praise and thanks for what he does in our own lives and in the working of the ministries that we engage in.
Thank you for your investment in this camp, and
we would love to hear from you. You can find our con- tact information on our website as well as additional information. Thank you for taking the time to read this — and I will end with the mission statement of the camp:
“To be a dynamic Christian camping ministry
committed to bringing children, youth and adults to a saving knowledge of and a maturity in Christ, while supporting the local church body.”
