New FEDA Leadership Councils Powering Up Dealers

When Michael Wartan entered the foodservice equipment and supplies industry in 2013, his impression was that competition was the dominant force. Now the vice president of sales at Gator Chef, a family-owned equipment dealer in the Chicago suburbs, says his outlook has changed as the enormity of the industry has become more apparent over the past 11 years. More than 749,000 restaurants were operating in the United States at the end of 2023, according to research from Zippia, and there are countless more hospitals, schools, retail stores, and other customers served by foodservice
