meetings, that I should go to the Family Bible Conference each year, and I should read the ARP Magazine. Although it was a “little bit” out of my comfort zone, I prayed about it and decided that I would “step up.” I am so glad that I did! Retreat and it was great. I met so many women from other churches who shared their ideas about what was happening in their churches.
A
lthough my idea of Circle was ladies dressed up and sit- ting in a circle, I attended my
church friend URGED me to try it. To my surprise, we were not sitting in a circle, no one was dressed up, and we had refreshments! The Bible study was great, and I enjoyed the fellow- ship–I had been wrong about what circle was! Later, I was asked to serve as the
Circle leader. As a high school gym could handle the position. I learned that communication was an impor- tant part of being a circle leader–re- minders of the meetings, what scrip- ture would be covered, and what our project of the month would be. We had a very active Circle and
sponsored some great projects, such at the local Boys and Girls club (our church later began to do a VBS there, Trunk or Treat, and had other activi- ties) and donating clothing to a local middle school (where we later began a mentoring program). One day, a lady at another ARP

On December 31st, I will “step down” as President of ARPWM for 2025. It has been my honor and privilege to serve with the ladies on our board. They are all willing to help with anything.
