Top Hats and Tiaras Happenings Continued From Page 25 T
hank you again to all the people who made this event possible this year and hats off
to all of you who came and celebrated with us! The highlight for most was indeed getting to be together in 3D after such a long time.
Together, $1,454 was raised for the Legislative Action Committee by passing around top hats in the room. In addition, $200 was also raised with the purchase of champagne and glasses at the event. Way to go donors!
Seeing the support for those nominated for awards as well as the love and gratitude in the sentiments shared as award recipients it became very apparent that the WSCAI is indeed a group that is in this together no matter what “this” is. Having an organization such as this is only as strong as its people and it is easy to see why those who get involved stay.
You have the strength of one another to lean into no matter what side of the desk you are on.
It is no doubt hard work and at times thankless in any position you may hold; yet it is through these struggles that you are able to grow and achieve more than you realize that you are capable of. It is because you have the strength of one another to lean into no matter what side of the desk you are on. For that we celebrate all of you WSCAI members and business partners there in person or there in spirit. Wishing you all the best as we prepare for the holidays and enter into the New Year!
