AGC of California Kicks Off Its Centennial Year
Kicking off AGC of California’s Centennial year, nearly 700 industry leaders turned out at the historic Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco for the 2020 Installation and Awards Gala.

ver the past century in California, the construction industry has laid the
foundation for tremendous growth in the Golden State. From the vast network of roads,
highways, bridges, ports, airports and railways that help move people and goods, to the skyscrapers, schools, hospitals, civic centers and countless other structures built to accommodate a growing population, construction has provided the framework that propelled California to its current rank as the world’s fifth largest economy. AGC of California has been right
there along the way. Te association helped guide the success of many of the pioneering firms that delivered Califor- nia’s infrastructure as it currently exists today. Trough economic booms and
