when the former El Toro Marine base was sold to a national developer, Brightview was responsible for the design and construction of the state- of-the-art sport complex that includes baseball, softball, soccer, tennis and volleyball areas, while helping create the vision for additional park amenities. Brightview managed a group of 25
subcontractors that implemented the cutting edge electrical and lighting system and other scope. Te company’s self-performed scope of work stood apart for its size and complexity, encompassing numerous athletic fields and extensive landscaping. Despite many challenges, such as
contending with existing underground and still active utility lines from
the El Toro Marine Base, BrightView completed the job on time and signifi- cantly below budget. Also selected as finalist in this category
was ISEC Inc. for “Los Angeles Interna- tional Airport United Airlines, Terminal 7 Terminal Redevelopment Program.”
