Following a 35-year career within the foodservice industry, Jack Scott, senior vice president of general market sales for Alto-Shaam, is set to retire at the end of 2022. Scott served as a prominent industry professional throughout his career, working with many industry leaders in organizations such as FEDA and serving on the board of trustees for the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI). “It’s been an honor to dedicate my career to Alto- Shaam and this industry,” Scott said. “I am very proud of the accomplishments of not only my general market sales team, but also my Alto- Shaam colleagues around the world. With heightened focus on the challenges and needs of operators, I know that Alto-Shaam will only continue to thrive and push the limits of what is possible for our industry.”
Succeeding Scott in the
role of senior vice president of general market sales is Matt Webber. The pair will
work closely together through to the end of December to ensure a seamless transition. With more than 15 years of commercial appliance and sales leadership experience, Webber will lead and manage Alto-Shaam’s general market sales team in the successful execution of strategic objectives and growth targets. He will plan, direct and coordinate the team in developing strong value-based relationships with customers, manufacturer’s representatives and dealer partners. Additionally, Alto-Shaam appointed Paris Dreibelbis as its newest corporate chef. As corporate chef,
Dreibelbis will serve as a culinary specialist, providing leading product training and customer support throughout the United States while also demonstrating the capabilities of Alto-Shaam’s complete kitchen equipment solutions. He will also be responsible for further enhancing the customer experience through new product development and on-site consultations.

Boston Showcase Company Boston Showcase Company hired Seth Iadarola as director of sales. Iadarola began his career in the industry at Boston Showcase as an account executive before spending more than a decade on the vendor side at Oneida Hospitality and more recently with Thermatek and Dade Coolers. Iadarola will manage the outside sales team, which consists of 11 account executives calling on more than 500 accounts regularly. “We are beyond thrilled to welcome Seth back to the family,” Andy Starr, vice president of sales and marketing, said. “Seth brings a wealth of knowledge and personal connections and we’ve remained close with him throughout the years. Some of his original accounts still remain loyal customers and he’s referred several employees to us who he now has the pleasure of managing.”

Greer are two new account representatives. Hart joined the company’s national inside sales group while Greer joined the sales group at Burkett’s Toledo, Ohio, regional branch. Simon Foote also joined the company as sales manager. He will lead Burkett’s national inside sales and regional sales departments. An industry veteran, Foote will be responsible for managing and extending Burkett’s network of customers across the United States and will focus on management and strategy of new business development, account management, client retention, and revenue growth. “We are delighted to have Simon on board,” said Crystal Rinker, director of sales and marketing. “He has long demonstrated exceptional relationship-building and selling skills, and his depth of experience and capabilities will complement our growing sales team and aggressive growth plans.
