t is that time of year again. Te cold weather out- side is creeping in, cozy sweaters and scarves em- brace us, and delicious casseroles fill our homes (and bellies) with warmth and comfort. Cas-
seroles are a great staple in the winter months. You can quickly layer on-hand ingredients to feed a busy family after work, with some of the best casseroles be- are not necessarily required as it is more of an art than a science. And they are almost always kid-approved, which is very important in my house. Yet there’s some- thing extra special to be said about the tried-and-true casserole that graces the table during a family holiday. Not only are they delicious, but they are usually tied to wonderful memories that come back to life with each bite, year after year.
