WHAT TO KNOW THE 2025-26 TPI MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY HAS SHIPPED The 2025-26 TPI Membership Directory was shipped to members in August! Please let us know if you haven’t received your copy. If you would like to update your company’s employees, grasses, etc., please call our office or go to the TPI membership database by logging into your account on the TPI website. GRASS BANS REARING THEIR HEADS AGAIN Grass bans are rearing their heads again. TPI is monitoring and working proposed grass bans from Colorado in the western U.S, to Maryland and Florida in the eastern U.S. Please contact the TPI office if you want to learn more.
THE 2025 ETP FIELD EXPO HELD IN LUXEMBOURG The 2025 ETP Field Day Expo was held in Luxembourg July 3 and 4. Read the article starting on page 38 of this issue to learn more about this educational event.
TPI TRACKING RECENT EXECUTIVE ORDER TPI is tracking a recent Executive Order on English Language Proficiency Requirements for commercial truck drivers. We are awaiting more information from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on how this may impact covered farm vehicles delivering agricultural commodities, including sod.
PROTECT YOURSELF & BUSINESS FROM CREDIT SCAMS Credit card scams are showing up again this year. Be wary of taking credit cards over the phone and follow the recommendations from our recent speaker at TPI 2025 in San Antonio. You can view the content for this session in the TPI Member Portal. TPI SECURES NEW COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER TPI is pleased to announce that Kyle Brown will now be serving as TPI Communications Manager. He started in that position the first week in August. He will also be taking on the responsibility of Turf News Editor replacing Steve & Suz Trusty by the end of this year. The January/February issue of Turf News will be a team effort of the three. Please see the article on page 54 to get to know Kyle.
