FROM THE PRESIDENT
Brendan Whelan, CIRMS Brown & Brown Insurance
As most of you are aware, after 22 years of service and dedication to the Keystone Chapter of Community Associations Institute, Tony Campisi, CAE has stepped away from his role as Executive Director. Tony has been given a well-deserved opportunity to serve CAI National in the capacity of Director of Government Affairs.
It is important to note that Tony was not seeking a change but was identified by CAI leadership for this new opportunity based on his talent, reputation, and work ethic. I expect his impact and influence to be felt throughout the organization, just in a different way than we are accustomed to. We wish him well and offer sincere thanks for everything he has done for this chapter the last two decades.
I realize that the vast majority of those reading this message cannot remember a time when Tony was not leading our chapter, but change is inevitable in all organizations. We have been extremely fortunate to have Tony’s tenure and experience in CAI Keystone, and that consistency has helped make us one of the largest and most innovative chapters in the country. Tony has graciously offered to assist during the transition, and I have no doubt that the Keystone Chapter will continue to prosper this year and beyond.
Speaking of events, the best way to benefit from your membership is still to attend live events. We have our Executive Leadership Retreat coming up in October. It will be held at the Skytop Lodge and I’ve been told that the location is “magical.” Pretty big adjective to live up to but that seems to be the consensus so I’m looking forward to it. This event is relatively new to our

We are also quickly coming up on our 50th Anniversary Excellence Awards Gala, which will be held on December 3rd at the Franklin Institute. Now is the time to register to attend or consider nominating a deserving fellow member for an award!
