THURSDAY, OCOTBER 9 WESTERN PA FALL EDUCATION SYMPOSIUM Shannopin Country Club, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Learn about three critical areas of community association board governance in this fun and interactive game show program. Attendees will be divided into teams and prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in each session! Session 1: Let's Play Jeopardy! —Jeopardy categories will cover the important and varied roles of community association board members and the responsibilities of officers and elected board members. Session 2: Tycoon —Create A Committee and Recruit Volunteers Committees and volunteers are critical to the governance and management of most community associations. Immerse yourself in the world of committees and volunteers in this interactive session, which will have teams focus on creating and planning committees to help guide and govern a community association. Session 3: Meetings Frenzy —Community association meetings need not be a feeding frenzy! In the game of Fishing Frenzy, participants will learn about how to conduct and manage association meetings and learn about Roberts Rules of Order.
