Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. That pretty much sums up what kind of athlete Corbin Johnson is. Corbin is a 2027 senior at Russellville High School who partici- pates in football, track, FCA, NHS, and student leadership. He start- ed playing football in 7th grade. He decided to play because although he was not naturally athletic, he had always been very competitive and loved to challenge himself. They support them through fundraisers and organizations and traveling to games no matter the weather, just to watch them play and cheer in the stands. Corbin is grateful to be surrounded by that level of love and dedication. “The people in the crowd are not just random people, but people who have poured into the commu- nity, and friends and family members I have known for a really long time. They support us in a win or a loss. They give us the voice of Russellville,” he explains.
