lias High School. The Crusaders went undefeated during the 2025 regular season. They captured their fourth Central Missouri Activi- ties Conference (CMAC) title since the CMAC was created in 2020. Helias won a district football title, beating Hickman (23-20) and Blue Springs (26-21). The Crusaders then gave state-ranked Nixa Tigers (45-28).
“It was an incredible accomplishment for the 2025 team,” said He- lias head football coach Chris Hentges. “Winning a Class 6 district title was as impressive as anything ever accomplished in Helias football.” Helias went 11-1 last year and has a record of 74-12 since 2019. about being in a conference again,” said Hentges. “Since we are the smallest school in the conference by far, it is a bit of a surprise that we have had such sustained success. We hope we can keep that going not only this year but also in the years to come.”
