“We learn so many life lessons from this sport and industry. At a skating show last year, I stated that the first thing we teach is how to fall and get back up; this lesson is something our skaters can take with them all through life. This industry teaches you that when life gets hard, you don’t give up; you look for others who understand the challenges you are facing and help you realize that you will make it through stronger and better on the other side.”
Favorite Activities
Motorcycle riding, reading, serving as an Army Family Readiness Group (FRG) member for her husband’s unit; Disney enthusiast; skating with her 4-year-old daughter and taking her to dance class.

Alexis and her husband of seven years, Joshua, have two daughters: 4-year-old Chloe and newborn Evah.
