While preparing skaters for their first
U.S. Figure Skating test, a primarily ISI coach has the benefit of asking another coach they work with and trust — one whom teaches the U.S. Figure Skating program — to critique skaters before
their test date. Likewise, a coach with a focus on the U.S. Figure Skating test structure feels free to verify with a qualified ISI coach that their skater has completed the ISI Freestyle 8 footwork correctly.
