TheFallseasonisinfullcolornowandtheThanksgivingholiday willsoonbeuponus.AsIreectuponmytermasthechapter president,herearesomeofthethingsthatIamthankfulforthis year.


InJanuary,weexpandedtheCAIfamilywhenwehiredAnne YannarellaasaMembershipSalesAssociate.Annehasprovento beanexcellentaddiontothestaandwillbeinstrumentalin helpingusgrowandretainourmembershipbase.


InApril,wehadourhugelysuccessfulCAIAnnualConference& ExpoatCizensBankParkandwehaveevenbiggerplansaswe movetheeventtothePennsylvaniaConvenonCenterin2015.


InMay,TonyreceivedthehighhonorofbeingnamedCAI’s ChapterExecuveDirectoroftheYear,amuchdeservedaward whichwaspresentedtohimattheNaonalConferencein Orlando,FL.


InJuly,arecordaendanceofover150gatheredtonetworkand toastthesummeratourSummerNetworkingEventin Philadelphia.


InAugust,weheldourLeadershipRetreattoreviewourgoalsand plansfortheextremelybrightfutureofthisChapter.


InOctober,theChapterhosteditsrstwebinardealingwiththe subjectofduciarydutyforboardmembers.Itwasagreat successandisusheringinyetanotherimportantchapter iniave.Thenextwebinar,scheduledforNovember18th,is "UnderstandingBankruptcyandItsImpactonYourCommunity". Thechapterconnuestoembraceandulizetechnologytoreach ourmembersandenhancethevalueofmembership.


Therearesllmanygreateventsplannedforthebalanceofthis yearincludingseveraleducaonaleventswithinourregional councilsandthePoconosAnnualAwardsandHolidayPartyon December3rdandtheChapterAnnualMeengandHolidayParty onDecember4th.


Nextyear,theChapterwillcelebrateits40thAnniversaryanditis remarkabletothinkaboutthestridesachievedbyour organizaonandinourindustryoverthepast40years.


Althoughtheprogresshasbeengreat,thebestpartofbeing involvedinthischapteristhepeople.FromTony,Mike,Anne, Hali,andLeanneatthechapterocetomyfellowboard members,commieemembers,members,sponsors,andallof thevolunteersthatmakethissuchagreatorganizaontobe involvedwithateverylevel.
