CAI MEETS WITH MONTGOMERY COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION


OnSeptember16,2014,CAI’sGovernment andProfessionalAairsCommiee presentedaneducaonalseminarentled, “CommonInterestCommunies”tothe MontgomeryCountyPlanning Commission.Theseminarhadagreat turnoutandovereenmembersofthe PlanningCommissionaended. 


Theseminar,ledbycommieemembers, CarlWeiner,Esq.,fromthelawrmof Hamburg,Rubin,Mullin,Maxwell&Lupin; RosyBrophy,CMCAAMS,fromAssociaMid AtlancAAMC;andJereyWert,PEPLS, fromMetzEngineersprovidedanoverview ofcommoninterestcommunies, highlighngissuesrelevanttothePlanning


Commission. 


Mr.Weinerbegantheseminarwitha discussionregardingthedierenttypesof commoninterestcommunies,howthey arecreated,andhowtheyoperate.Hethen discussedlegalissuesrelatedtocommon


interestcommunies,focusingonissues regardingtransionandthedraingof governingdocuments. 
