Assembly (60 Democrats, 20 Republicans) Buffy Wicks (D, District 15) – A


community organizer, Wicks served in the Obama administration in the Office of Public Engagement. She has worked with labor unions and Democratic candidates on policy and


candidate campaigns. Rebecca Bauer-Kahan (D,


District 16) – Assemblymember Bauer- Kahan is an attorney with a focus on environmental laws and regula- tions. She most recently has taught


appellate law and legal research at Santa Clara University and Golden Gate University. She replaces a Repub- lican incumbent, Assemblymember


Catharine Baker. Robert Rivas (D, District 30)
