involvement with the San Jose-based company that has built commercial, industrial and institutional projects throughout the Bay Area and Central Coast since 1970. Blach has been active in AGC of
California for nearly three decades. He has served on the local Santa Clara District board for more than 20 years, including as Chair, and for over 10 years served on the Building Division and State Boards. He was Vice President and Treasurer of AGCC in 2018 and 2017, respectively. Blach has been engaged in a
variety of leadership positions in his community. He is on the Board of Regents at Santa Clara University and board of directors of KQED and has served as board president and board member of Sacred Heart Community Service, the Rotary Club of San Jose, and Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County among other organizations.
Vice President Dina Kimble Dina Kimble is President and a
partner in Royal Electric Company, Sacramento. She started with the company as a project manager over 20 years ago. Kimble holds a bachelor’s in construction management from Arizona State University, and a Master of Business Administration from UC Davis. She has an array of expertise from marketing and sales, accounting and financial analysis, to operations, human resources, and compliance and risk management. Kimble has been active with AGC
for several years, serving on the State and Executive Boards, as Chair and Vice Chair of the Building Division in 2017 and 2016, respectively, and as Treasurer in 2018. She also served as a Governor appointee to the California Apprenticeship Council, as Chair of the board for Associated Builders and Contractors of Northern CA, on the board of the Western Electrical Contractors Association, and as a trustee for the Sacramento Construction Management Education Foundation and the Sacramento

Treasurer Steve Rule Steve Rule has 35 years’
experience in the construction industry, including more than 30 years with Turner Construction. In his role as Vice President and Construction Executive, he currently leads Turner’s project team on the design-build, Terminal 3 West Modernization project at San Francisco Inter- national Airport. In addition, he oversees the Terminal 2 Build Back project at SFO and serves as Turner’s Deputy Operations Manager for the Bay Area. He has been involved in the leadership of several other high- profile projects for Turner. Rule has been active in AGC
of California for several years, most recently serving as Chair and Vice Chair of the Building Division in 2018 and 2017, on the Executive Committee and State Board and as Chair and Vice Chair of the San Francisco Bay Area District board. He holds a BS in construction engineering management from Oregon State University and an MBA in management from San Francisco State University.
Immediate Past President Walt Johnson
Walt Johnson has spent
some 30 years in public works construction. After a two-year stint with a Minneapolis-based contractor working in Oxnard he joined K.G. Walters Construction Company, Inc. in Santa Rosa and rose the ranks from office engineer to eventually become President and Chief Executive Officer. He has been active in AGC of California for over a quarter century, holding a variety of positions culminating in his service as President in 2018.
